Group history
Group history
Our group in Canberra originally started under the leadership of Mestre Rodriguinho, who lived here from 2008 to 2022. Originally from Vitória, Brasil, he has over 30 years of experience with Capoeira, and was recognised as a Capoeira mestre in 2012 by the founding Mestres of Grupo Senzala.
In 2022 our group incorporated as a not-for-profit community association in the ACT as Capoeira Senzala Canberra Inc (A06353).
